I love Easy Internet... yes i said it. anyway I was with AT&T  and that was the worst internet i have ever had. I pay 45 for 100 mbps internet speed and i was paying the same with AT&T for 12 mbps and at my house the wiring is so old from AT&T that I could only get a max of 8 mbps on a good day. most of the time it would only reach 6 mbps. I have gotten good customer service and the installation went smooth. I was out of town and I guess I had not setup my automatic payments. So Easy Internet representative came out the day I had gotten back from my trip and tells me about my service being out. I did not even realize it had been cut off and the representative was sent to avoid my service getting disconnected. Of course to also collect a debt but I thought wow I have never seen this before so I was more than happy to pay. I hear they are updating my area in Riverside so even better service is coming yay. I have never had an internet connection problem with them.  I only have internet with them and they never call up to offer anything else to me I guess I might just be lucky lol.

I'm a big time gamer so speed rules over everything else. I have only had really positive experiences with Easy Internet customer service and the fact that they don't make you sign up for a contract means that even if the service is bad then you can leave! I have had Easy Internet for 8 months and I have had ZERO problems. The customer service people at the Easy Internet office were a joy to deal with and the installation guy was both efficient and on time. He was also a joy to deal with because he also had great customer service. Btw, my internet speeds are exactly as advertised (100 Mbps) which is 5X faster than literally all services (20 mbps average).

After having Easy Internet for a couple of months there has been no down side. The service has been better and more reliable than any I have had in other states. The tech showed up right on time and everything has been fine since. They are providing what they said they would with no hassles whatsoever. That being said I have not had to call customer service, go to the office etc. I only have Internet service no cable, So I can't review that part of their service. I have been uploading HD video and streaming to 1 or more devices at the same time with only occasional minor choppiness. So for providing what they said they would for $45 a month for 100 Mbps they deserve 5 stars.

Made the order (we did not get cable or voice), the installer came out when scheduled, and now I have broad band internet via wifi in my apartment. My girlfriend and I can both watch net flix simultaneously in separate rooms, no problem. The installer was friendly and professional. So far so good. 1080P YouTube videos and downloads going on in the background. Yeah-yuh! The Internet service is way better than the now defunct clear and better than my experience with AT&T.

I was using Verizon for 3 years. There was no single moment that I was happy with their service and although I had my modem prepared by them, they never had it tuned or balanced in a satisfactory way. From the very early moment that I got Easy Internet, a phone call was enough to install the previous mentioned modem-router of mine for the system. The tech guy escalated the subject up, and supervisors fixed it in less than hour in a way that I had never experienced. Visited the Easy Internet office to turn in my cable boxes, cancel my DVR service, and get a cable card (going wtih TiVo).  Eugene took care of my turn in, answered my questions, and got me on my way.  I couldn't believe how easy it was, and how helpful Eugene was during the process.  Similarly, the help I received over the phone during my migration to TiVo (technical questions about the receivers, the cable card, and the tuning adapter) made the process smooth and easy.  I was ready for a painful experience, but it turned out very well.

The record confirms that ViaSat-1 provides the most total throughput capacity over the U.S. and Canada – 100 times the capacity of a typical Ku-band satellite and 10 times the throughput of any Ka-band satellite launched prior to ViaSat-1. The effect of latency on satellite internet speeds has been exaggerated in the past. ViaSat communications satellites are in orbit a bit more than 22,000 miles above the Earth, but the speed of light is approximately 186,282 miles per second. The reason older versions of satellite Internet service were slow had more to do with the technology available at the time than latency.

Our new Exede service incorporates new, ground breaking web acceleration technology which dramatically speeds up page load times, minimizing the effect of latency. Yes, we recently launched a VoIP product of our own, Exede Voice, which is optimized specifically for our network and includes unlimited local and long-distance calling in the U.S. and Canada. Other VoIP services may work just fine with Exede, but you’ll likely see much better results with Exede Voice. Plus, calls don’t count toward your data allowance as they would with other VoIP services.


Virtual Private Networks (‘VPN’) and other remote computer access software (such as that used to connect business servers to at-home workers) may be very slow with Exede Internet. Some VPNs may not work at all.


You can easily download games from services such as Xbox Live, Playstation Network, Steam and Origin. Single player games work normally. However, some online multiplayer games have very poor performance or may not work at all.

Since there are thousands of different online games out there, ViaSat cannot say that each of them will work on our Exede network.

ViaSat makes every effort to overcome the inherent delay (latency) of the signals that travel to and from our satellites. Many online multiplayer games will experience a noticeable lag or delayed effect, which is normal and expected with any satellite internet network.

Each game is programmed to handle latency differently. For example, FIFA 2013 performs differently on our network from NBA 2013 due to the way these games have been programmed to manage or account for latency. Also some games may have single player content that works fine and separate multiplayer content that works poorly or not at all.

Our network of certified professional installers quickly and efficiently install equipment and activate the Exede internet service at your chosen location. The satellite mini-dish is about 30 inches x 28 inches (w x h) and can be easily mounted on a roof, outside wall or in the ground. A cable from the dish connects to the modem which connects to your computer via an Ethernet connection.

Installation requires an installation professional to make sure that the dish is pointed at the satellite accurately and to verify that all connections are made properly. Self-installation is not offered.


The Exede dish is considered under what the FCC calls the “Over-the-Air Reception Devices Rule”. This means the Exede dish is under the same classification as other residential satellite dishes (such as satellite television) and legally permissible for mounting on your home.

The only difference between our monthly service plans is the amount of data you’re allowed to use with each plan. With three satellite internet plans to choose from, it’s easy to find one that fits your needs.

Just choose which plan you need based on the amount of data you plan to use. Streaming videos and movies require more data, reading emails requires very little.

If you use up your data allowance before your monthly reset date, we may significantly slow and/or restrict your service, or certain uses of your service, until the end of your monthly measurement period. On a monthly basis your usage will be reset to zero, at which point your speeds will be restored.

If you find that you need more data than your plan allows, you can always upgrade to a higher data plan. There is no charge to upgrade (or downgrade) your account between packages.
